Hi All, Do you like to procrastinate? I'm one of those who doesn't. I have some horrible feeling down in my gut that I have to get thigns done as quickly as I can, especially if I dread them. Lol. And if I don't ,I worry about them and feel sad and guilty when I'm doing something fun and shoudl be working. Hehehe. Caitlin

I'm the queen of procrastination. I can't say I enjoy it, but I can't avoid it especially when it comes to school. Needless to say, procrastionation has gotten me into a lot of trouble over the years.

Lol has it? That's not good! Lol! I have a friend who procrastinates bigtime, he does projects that are supposed to be done over the span of three weeks the morning it's due, and gets an A+, it scares me. He's a zoner, maybe I should get him to tell us the secret here hehehe. Caitlin

hey guys
! Being in uni has sorta stopped me from procrastinating. I guess when you have to pay for school, it all changes. I know that when I was in high school, I procrastinated all of the time! I was such a slacker. I still slack off sometimes though, but what can ya do I guess. I think everyone has a bit of procrastination in them, and if they don't, they're pretty amazing!

<P>Procrastination is my middle name! Just when I'm in danger of getting an F in any of my classes, I manage to pull it up to a C. Now, how I do that is beyond me, but ... it's not advisable! I hate it! I don't know why I procrastinate so much.

Post 6 by Caitlin (I've now got the silver prolific poster award! wahoo!) on Thursday, 30-Dec-2004 17:26:42

Lol well sometimes i want to procrastinate, but I try not to. Right now I'm kind of procrastinating a bit, but actually I need to fix somethign on my BN before I do my homework, so I guess I'm not really...

I mean, I'm not procrastinating because I need to get tech support for my BN, and until I do that, I can't do my homework.

Queen of procrastination I guess you can call me. I used to do it a lot when I was in high school, and even though I procrastinated, I would still find time to do my work. Even though it means getting it done first thing in the morning when I wake up. Lol I still got honor role for it. At least the teachers didn't know about it anyways. Now I have nothing to procrastinate on, I have no more school. Lol haha

well when I was in school, I use to procrastinate about doing my homework. it wasn't so much a matter of enjoying putting it off, it was a matter of dreading to get started on it. Then when I did it at the last minute, I had to rush rush rush.
I procrastinate sometime about excercising. But not with the ab lounge I got for christmas. I like it because you can get such a good work out in such a short time, but sometimes with most excercise I procrastinate, lol.

The one who needs to go and find something else to with there time is you.
If you had such a life, you wouldn't post to every dam comment everyone makes on here. Jesus, you must have a lot of time on your hands; I kind of feel bad for you. Well... not really.
Wonderwoman, don't let this kid or whoever he is bother you, because sooner or later whenever it gets threw that thick head, he'll realize that he's just annoying.
Surprised the "comunity leaders," haven't taken any action to this asshole.

I do my fair share of procrastination. However, like Caitlin, if i have an assignment looming over me, i like to try and get it out of the way.

I'm procrastinating right now! I had a buncha homework this week, and I worked my butt off, and now, I have a buncha homework over the weekend, but I'm playin' for now 'cause I'm sicka school! Haha!

Thanks goldberg, well he's wasting his time, because I'm not reading his posts at all. And megan, you're right to want to get it out of the way, I feel if I had it to do over again, I'd start on it as soon as the teacher left, but if I were put back in that situation, I'd probably do the same thing again. I'm glad to see this board getting more active again.

Hi Michelle,
I can't tell you what abc said in here, because I stopped reading his posts. From Goldbergs' comment, I gather his posts didn't have anything to do what was being discussed. I got 6 pm's from him, yesterday, and I spent ten minutes deleting them, all without reading them of course. Someone deleted all his posts, including his go get a life topic. To tell you the truth, I don't start my own topics anymore in the lets talk board, too many people ready to jump all over you for the slightest thing. I just ride other people's topics, lol.

I truly hate procrastinating; I try my hardest not to do it. When I do this on ocation, I get mad with myself. But anyway, I'll try not to ever let it happen again in future years.

Post 23 by dissonance (Help me, I'm stuck to my chair!) on Friday, 23-Dec-2005 18:59:30

I have officially decided that procrastination doesn't work. I used to be a very accomplished procrastinator usually, but I decided that It's not worth putting the stress on myself like I have been, so I am making an effort to be better at doing things earlier.

Post 24 by wonderwoman (I've now got the silver prolific poster award! wahoo!) on Friday, 23-Dec-2005 19:11:29

I'm procrastinating at this very minute. I uninstalled Norton security, because along with Norton, hp updates, and hp organize, it was bogging down my resources, now I have to go and install another antivirus program, and I don't want to. I have to uninstall norton security center, and symanteck live updates, and live reg, because that stuff didn't get uninstalled when I uninstall norton system works. I listened to and recorded dave Williams' review of avg free antivirus program. It was a good review, and I recorded it on tape, and it's free, no yearly updates to pay for, so I guess I'll have to stop putting it off so much.

Isn't it sad? But seriously, I try not to slack off...I mean, I fight it but this voice in my head says, "you did your best, try again some other time...perhaps tomorrow."

Post 32 by OceanDream (An Ocean of Thoughts) on Friday, 26-Feb-2010 15:34:52

Ug. I'll be the first to admit that procrastination is definitely one of my weaknesses. I've been working on it, and getting a little better, but there is much work ahead. Oh well. I'll start tomorrow. Lmao!
